In Kabusa, Nigeria, the MAGI Project brings more than just school supplies—it brings hope, love, and a reminder that someone cares. HHI trainer Glory, along with local church leaders, prepared for the second distribution of MAGI boxes at LEA Kabusa Primary School, where children eagerly awaited their turn.
For many of these children, a MAGI box was more than a gift; it represented restoration. It meant new shoes, school supplies, and the lifting of burdens that their families could not bear alone. One child, Adekola, was particularly moved by the gift he received.
“I didn’t know what to expect,” he said. “When my name was written, I didn’t know they were going to give me all these gifts. I thought it was punishment for not wearing good sandals to school. But today, on my birthday, I received everything I needed—books, sandals, a school bag, even toothpaste! I can’t believe someone cared enough to give me these things. I am short of words to express how I feel today. Thank you, Jesus, and thank you to Healing Hands International!”
Adekola’s story was just one of many. The MAGI Project not only provided the children with the tools to succeed academically, but it also reminded them that they are loved and valued. Through these simple gifts, hearts were opened, burdens were lifted, and lives were changed.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the MAGI Project continues to make a Godly impact, spreading hope and the message of Christ one box at a time.
