The Andrew Connally Farm in Tanzania is expanding its agricultural skills, with HHI Hunger to Harvest Trainer Edwin hosting a workshop for a group of preachers.
The workshop took place at Bearvalley Biblical School Extension in Olmot Ward, Arusha City.
One trainee, Marco, a 21-year-old second-year student, shared, “My vision is to become a good preacher. This project is crucial for helping congregations increase their daily income. Thank you for your support.”
Another participant, Solomon, a 64-year-old father of three and second-year student, said, “My vision is to serve and qualify for an eldership position in the church. This project has a big impact on preachers, many of whom are not financially supported. We need to take responsibility and overcome poverty. I hope all preachers will receive drip kits to make it easier to implement. Thank you for your support.”
With the continued support of initiatives like this, these preachers are not only enhancing their ability to serve their congregations but also gaining the tools to improve their communities’ livelihoods. As they implement these farming techniques, the hope is that they will inspire lasting change, fostering both spiritual growth and economic self-sufficiency across the region.
