The MAGI project is a physical act that shows the joy and love of Jesus Christ. Yet it is much more than that. It is a tool that brings together the body of Christ across the globe.
These small gifts to the community bring so much more than the items needed for everyday life. A MAGI box has the power to bring the gospel into the lives of an entire community. The boxes relieve stress from families by providing necessary supplies for their children, and allow them to experience the beauty of the gospel and Jesus Christ’s love firsthand.
Joan Ayikoru, a mother of four in Uganda, has felt a renewal of hope from the blessings of the MAGI gifts. She shares, “In the past few weeks I have been stressed on how I will handle the four children with scholastic supplies since school is starting in February. My prayers have been to find some money, but luckily enough Healing Hands International has come in to relieve me.” She goes on to express her gratitude for the MAGI gifts and the heavenly impact they had on not just her but her whole community.
Her renewed sense of hope comes from the belief that God does answer her prayers. This hope is not limited to just her and her family but the countless others in her community that have been blessed by God and His generosity.
